BALLET LADIES
- Please purchase the required leotard color and style for your level. Please do not purchase cotton leotards, they fade fast and get “pills” after just a few washes. Get the recommended leotards below for your level or search for your color in Nylon/Spandex.
- PreSchool - Bloch Girls “Desdemona” Ruffle Tulle Bodice Tutu in Pink. - this is required - no variation please.
- Level I - any baby blue Leotard - we love Capezio (TB132C)
- Level II - any Hot Pink Leotard - we love Bloch (CL7905)
- Level III - any Royal Blue Leotard - we love Capezio (TB150)
- Level IV - and up can wear any black leotard you choose -
we love Capezio MC220 or Capezio TB243W
- Pink tights are required in every ballet class every day. (Levels IV and up may wear black tights on the outside of you leotard)
- Black Ballet skirts are recommended - our preference is
- Child - Bullet Pointe (BP13201K) in black
- Adult - Bullet Pointe (BP13201) in black
- Or a similar silhouette, please no wrap skirts that tie on the little ones.)
- Pink split-sole canvas ballet shoes are required - we prefer Capezio “Hanami”
- Hair in a bun. If too short for a bun, hair must be secured off the face
- Ballet sweaters are recommended as well - it is often cool in the studio even in warm months.
- SHORTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN BALLET CLASSES
LADIES - JAZZ, CONTEMPORARY, AND ACRO,
TAP AND HIP HOP
- Required leotard color for your level
- Pink or black tights are required!
- Solid Black dance or volleyball shorts, or black leggings are allowed. (No loose athletic running shorts).
- If you wear shorts, you must still wear tights.
- Hair in a bun or ponytail. If too short, hair must be secured off face
- Jazz shoes - We recommend Bloch “Pulse” - this shoe is REQUIRED for the Diamond Dancers. We recommend that the shoes fit snuggly and that you wear socks with them.
- Contemporary Shoes – dance socks or barefoot.
- Acro - Barefoot - No shoes required - tights are still REQUIRED.

- Level I - Tan Mary Jane Style shoe (Mini Diamonds and Petite Diamonds need a tan Capezio lace up tap)
- Level II - tan lace up oxford, solid sole.
- Level III and up - any real leather (not man made) and needs a solid sole - no split sole. Black is recommended.

- White, gray or black snug-fitting tank, t-Shirt or NADT shirt
- Black shorts, leggings, or men’s tights
- White socks
- Black or white or skin tone split sole ballet shoes
- If hair is long it must be secured off the face
GENTLEMEN - JAZZ, CONTEMPORARY, AND ACRO,
TAP AND HIP HOP
- White snug fitting tank, t-Shirt or NADT shirt
- Black shorts, leggings, or capri pants
- If hair is long it must be secured off the face.
